Toolbar
The buttons in the SiteSucker toolbar allow you to control SiteSucker. Corresponding commands are also available in the SiteSucker menus. The SiteSucker toolbar includes the following buttons:
History |
Displays the ten most recently used URLs in a pop-up menu. SiteSucker also provides these URLs under the History menu. When you choose a URL from the menu, SiteSucker enters it into the URL text field.
You can also use the ⌘-Option-Arrow keys to cycle through the list of recently used URLs.
To delete all recent URLs, choose Clear Menu.
Settings |
Opens the Settings dialog, which lets you customize the settings.
Queue |
Displays the contents of the SiteSucker queue. Click the button again to hide the queue.
Log |
Opens the SiteSucker log file in the Console.
Each SiteSucker document has its own log file, which is in the destination folder. This file is only created if one of the log options is set in the settings and a message is logged. If the log file isn't present in the destination folder, this button is disabled.
If you hold down the option key while clicking the button, SiteSucker will let you choose an application with which to open the file.
File |
Opens the local file in the destination folder that corresponds to the address shown in the URL text field. This is equivalent to double-clicking the file in the Finder. You can use this feature to quickly view your downloaded site in a web browser. This button is disabled unless the URL is associated with a file listed in the Downloads menu.
If you hold down the option key while clicking the button, SiteSucker will let you choose an application with which to open the file.
Folder |
Opens the destination folder in the Finder. This allows you quick access to your downloaded files.
Download |
Starts downloading the address entered into the URL text field. If you click this button while SiteSucker is already downloading files, the URL will be added to queue.
Next |
Stops downloading the current site and begins downloading the next URL in the queue.
Pause |
Pauses downloading.
Resume |
Resumes downloading.
Stop |
Stops downloading and clears the queue.
