SiteSucker URL

SiteSucker provides a URL that you can use to send a web URL or a path from another app to SiteSucker. The SiteSucker URL can be used in any app that can open a URL, such as a web browser.

If you send a web URL to SiteSucker, SiteSucker will try to download it. For example, the SiteSucker URL sitesucker:http://www.simplehtmlguide.com will tell SiteSucker to download http://www.simplehtmlguide.com.

If you send a path to SiteSucker, SiteSucker will try to display the file at that location relative to the Downloads folder. For example, the SiteSucker URL sitesucker:Coding%20Resources/www.simplehtmlguide.com/divisions.php.html will tell SiteSucker to display the downloaded file at Coding Resources/www.simplehtmlguide.com/divisions.php.html in the Downloads folder.

You can also enter a SiteSucker URL in the URL text field in the SiteSucker screen. This URL should include the path to a file that is already in your Downloads folder (such as, sitesucker:Coding%20Resources/www.simplehtmlguide.com/divisions.php.html). You can get the SiteSucker URL for a local file by copying it in the File Browser popover in the Downloads screen. When you try to download this type of URL, SiteSucker will analyze the specified file for links and download the links.
